Is the stock market open today because it’s President’s Day?

Whether you’re shopping for a new mattress or taking advantage of other President’s Day offers, don’t worry about the performance of your investment. US stock and bond markets remain closed on Monday due to the holiday.

Both markets usually close at 4pm on Fridays. The stock market is at 5:00 pm ET and the bond market is at 5:00 pm ET.

The stock market will be open at 9:30am and the bond market at 8:00am EST on the Tuesday after the public holiday as usual.

Banks are also closed on Mondays and no mail is delivered.

The stock market will be closed for Presidents' Day on Monday.
